Chamber Ramps Up for 36th Annual Rivertown Art Festival - May 18-19

Chamber ramps up for 36th Annual Rivertown Art Festival in Downtown Stillwater/ St. Croix Valley's largest art fair takes place May 18th – 19th!

The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 36th annual Rivertown Art Festival will take place in North Lowell Park in Downtown Stillwater on May 18-19 from 10am-4pm.  The event is free to the public and will feature over 100 local vendors and artists.

Stillwater’s annual spring festival highlights art in a wide variety of mediums and includes a “marketplace” section for fun food and unique handcrafted items. Featured art categories include metal, drawing, ceramics, pottery, photography, glass, wood, fiber, painting and jewelry.

According to Greater Stillwater Chamber Event Manager, Dolly Parker, the “marketplace” category has been booming with artists and increasing over the years.

“The marketplace category is really unique,” Parker said. “We have handmade items as well as a variety of food and spices. We have vendors coming who make wine jelly, homemade tortilla chips, spices, salsas, candles and body lotions, just to name a few.”

This year marks the second consecutive year that the Greater Stillwater Chamber has produced the event, after a 13-year hiatus. Now in its 36th repeated run, the Rivertown Art Festival has increased in vendors, artists and exposure.
