Consider The Numbers When Planning Your Next Move

If you are considering selling your home soon, along with great rates and values, take into account the population numbers of the buyers out there!


When you are looking for the right buyer for your home, you think about staging, marketing, networking, ads, and showings.  Another big impact to consider is the actual number of potential buyers based on population statistics.

Matures: age 65+ (1909-1945) There are 35M in this group to downsize.

Boomers: age 45-63 (1946-1964) There are 80M in this group w/big homes.

Gen X: age 30-44 (1965-1979) There are 48M in this group buying up.

Millennials: age 14-29 (1980-1995) There are 74M in this group/1st time buyers.

Depending on where you are at, this impacts who you will be selling your home to.  Pricing at certain levels will be hugely impacted by supply and demand for years to come.

Along with rate projections and appreciation values, take this information into account as you are planning YOUR NEXT CHAPTER!!
