Myth 2: There is a “Right” Way to Draw
It’s sad but true that most people think drawing and the art process must be done in a particular way.
When you ask them can they draw, they compare their efforts to some great artist and tell you they can’t do it. Most people also think you can’t look at photographs or other drawings for inspiration, but they don’t know that Picasso and Michelangelo both spent the first five years of their training in copying exercises!

Critical atmospheres abound around art so many people shy away from even attempting to draw anymore. But if you expose yourself to as many styles as possible and start to draw, you will reclaim the natural ability you have to draw and encourage others to do the same.
