Marks In An Age of Change/Arts Blog
One of the rights of spring is the time every year when the Locust trees bloom in the valley.
I've been a little delinquent in my daily photo's since my first post here on the StillwaterPatch. After all, I promised an attempt to post a daily photo. Yet, I keep my camera busy and have three new photos that I would like to share with you. In ,,the valley,, (St. Croix River Valley) one of the rights of spring is the time every year when the Locust trees bloom. This event truely marks the calendar saying that spring has arrived and summer is close to follow. When the Locust trees bloom on the bluffs behind my home, the air is filled with a fragrence that is truely a reminder that it is great to be alive. These blooms are fleeting, lasting only a few days and if their is a strong rain, they are gone. I wish I could make these photos ,,scratch and sniff,, for you, I am waiting for that technology. Anyway, enjoy the beauty of this time this year already passed, and, watch for my next ,,rights of spring,, photos of the Wren fledglings leaving the nest . . . .
