Internet marketing has become the most important aspect of selling your home. It is absolutely paramount that you hire the right person, with the right tools. When you have your house on the market, do you want marketing that underperfoms? Or, do you want to bring out the emotions that made you fall in love with your house in the first place?
Videos are a non negotiable tool that I use for every listing. I wouldn't take the chance of your home not selling in order to save myself money. It is emotion that drives a buyer to buy.

How it works>>>>
Before putting your house on the market, a live video is shot with a wide angle high definition video camera. This only takes a couple hours and will be the most important emotion driving marketing tool that you have. Within a couple days, the video is edited to show the best parts of your home. Then, it is placed on 2 websites. One will be agent focused that I can use to advertise to potential buyers. The other website is generic and will be used on the MLS for all buyers to see through the "virtual tour" icon under the listing.
What else you need to know>>>>
The video will be seen by consumers as they look at listings online. But, if your agent is not an expert at online marketing, the video is near useless.
Meet the man behind the camera>>>>
Erik Mickelson owns and operates the marketing company Mediagraphy. He has brough a new light to real estate marketing that has proven to be more effective in capturing the buyers from the internet into the homes I sell.
"Slideshows, or pictures, cannot and will not be able to convey the same power that actual video can. In other words, if you're using media that is not the latest or cutting edge, you may tend to look outdated, or behind the times. Plus, 90% of all searches for homes start on the internet. So why would anyone want to showcase the home they're trying to sell in a way that's less effective?"
"I started doing the videos for real estate because I saw that just about every other product on the market from cars to toothbrushes to coffee, had some marketing that had feeling and meaning behind it (some sort of emotion), except for real estate. All I saw was 18 photos, if that. And maybe those photos put to a slideshow, and that slideshow was set to some really bad music."
