Summer Tuesdays Lifts the Non-Existent Curtain
We put on events such as Cruisin' on the Croix, Summer Tuesdays, Paint on the Water and Harvest Fest. Ever wonder how these events come to be? Well wonder no more! (If you read this, that is).

That's right, folks. We have a stage, but no curtain, but you may not know how the event “Summer Tuesdays” comes to be.
Well for starters, there is a team.
We call ourselves Legacy Team Members, and we are made up of local business owners, local managers, freelancers, and most of us are residents of Stillwater.

We meet, appropriately, on Tuesday morning in . And while we may want to throw a few back while we're there, we *usually* get down to business with our weekly progress.
Scott Zahren and Randy Gutzmann are reporting on who they have been speaking with about sponsorship. We rely completely on our sponsors to provide this event. I commonly hear people asking for more events in their towns that are free of charge. Or they love the events that are offered, but usually won't attend if its something that they need to pay for. That's where our sponsors come in. They allow us the money to pay for the rights to the movies that are in the park, or sponsors may give in-kind donations of tables, projectors and things like that.

Cassie McLemore gets things going with our band and movie line-up and arranges the market. While Cory Buettner is hitting the pavement with getting food vendors in the market. Chuck Dougherty is our treasurer and overall “I'll get that” guy. I'm Erin and like doing nerdy computer stuff. We also have awesome volunteers and interns like Judy Berg and Elle Neeck!
So today is the second week of Summer Tuesdays in Lowell Park and what's on our minds?
The radar.
We have to take an educated guess by 2 p.m. if we are able to have the market and the movie outdoors.
We always want to have it, but let's be honest – watching a movie, sitting on a blanket in the pouring rain doesn't sound fun.
But the good news? The band plays on! Inside Water Street Inn, that is.
So rain or shine, come on down to hear some good music starting at 6 p.m.
