Twas the Night Before Summer Tuesdays...

Twas the night before Summer Tuesdays, and all through the group, not a creature was stirring, except me – keeping you in the loop. And that is the extent of my creativity for the day...all in one sentence. Each week we need to get a few things in order behind the scenes, just to make sure everything will be able to run smoothly each Tuesday. For instance, I just finished designing the schedule that we hand out each week and need to print them out and cut. Randy just finished putting up the barriers in the parking lots, Cory picked up the refreshments for the Summer Tuesdays booth, Cassie is arranging this week's market map and communicating with the bands, and I'm also trying to get the word out about how great Summer Tuesdays is for the community. Cassie and I also just returned from purchasing four new chairs for our Summer Tuesdays Box Seats competition. We had four foldable chairs, and we decided with the fun response we are receiving from people competing each week on Facebook, we would raise the stakes on the prize by making the chairs even more desirable.

No clue what I'm talking about? Well then – Step One: “Like” Summer Tuesdays Facebook page. Then watch for your instructions on how to enter each week's competition. For example, last week we asked people to post their favorite photos of someone wearing overalls (this is in reference to the movie last week). Once posted, whichever photo gets the most “likes” is the winner that week. What do they win? That week they will get to sit in the Summer Tuesdays Box Seats and enjoy free popcorn and refreshments from the Summer Tuesdays booth. Their photos are then added to the weekly slideshow which is shown directly before the movie (so bragging rights, really). But I think the best part is having prime seating that is already set up for you, and you don't have to haul any chairs! So follow Summer Tuesdays on Facebook today! (Shameless plug conclusion).
