Countdown to Ironman: Four Weeks to Bicycle Ride in Stillwater

It's four weeks to go until the 47th annual Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride rolls into Stillwater.
Bob McEnaney, a certified USA Cycling coach, suggests now is the time to start training. Even with snow still on the ground, McEnaney suggests increasing saddle time now to prepare for the big ride.Â
The ride is April 28 beginning at 6:30 a.m., leaving from the Washington Co. Fairgrounds. There are five routes, ranging from 15 miles to 100 miles.
