Do you like to taste great wine & food? Then join us this Friday for the Stillwater Sampler

In its ninth year, the Stillwater Rotary will be hosting The Stillwater Sampler on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Grand Banquet Hall from 6 to 10 p.m. This fundraising event will benefit a pilot program, affectionately named Music Means More, which has been designed in partnership with Stillwater Area Public Schools to infuse more music learning into local classrooms. Many of the Stillwater areas best restaurants will participate in the social and food-tasting event of the season at the Grand Banquet Hall.

We warmly invite everyone for a delicious evening of great food and entertainment. Stillwater Rotary’s own Peter Clements will masterfully auction off vacations, special dinners, a wall of wine, hosted dinner parties for you and your friends, and much more. The Stillwater Rotary Club is pleased to partner with Music Means More, which will receive a share of the funds raised by this event. This unique pilot program is providing opportunities for young students to explore sound and use music as a way to engage in learning. Through the initiative, kindergarten teachers at Lake Elmo are working closely with the school’s music teacher to integrate the use of song and musical instruments into the day to make learning more fun. Through increased exposure to music at a young age, developers of the Music Means More curriculum expect to see increased levels of engagement in learning and possible improvements in student achievement.
