Drunk Stillwater Man Had Assault Rifle In Car: Police

A 20-year-old Stillwater man has pleaded guilty to theft, carrying a pistol without a permit, and underage drinking and driving.

MOWER COUNTY, MN — A man from Stillwater, Minnesota has pleaded guilty to felony theft, misdemeanor pistol without a permit possession, and misdemeanor underage drinking and driving. The defendant, 20, was arrested after being pulled over while driving a vehicle that was reported stolen, according to police.

Authorities found pistols, a rifle, a BB gun, an assault rifle, ammunition, three compound bows in the vehicle, the Austin Daily Herald reported. Three open liquor bottles were found in the vehicle as well. A preliminary breath test found the had a BAC of .47, according to the newspaper.
