On April 8, 2014, Dr. Rick Alleman will be discussing: Tick-borne disease: The Role of Your Veterinarian as Public Health Advocate for You and Your Pet. Dr. Alleman is a professor of clinical pathology from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been researching tick diseases in animals and people for over 20 years. This is a rare opportunity to learn about a significant disease threat to both animals and people. Preregistration is required. Cost is $10.
