has been selected by the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) to host a regional college fair on Thursday, March 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium.
All high school students and their parents are encouraged to attend this event – one of 16 such fairs to be held in the state – which provides students and parents an opportunity to explore a variety of options for continued education, technical training or military service after high school. Admission to the fair is free.
Representatives from 110 colleges, educational institutions and other organizations from across the country will be available to answer questions and provide important information for post-high school planning. Structured like a trade show, students and parents will be free to look at various displays and speak with schools, colleges and organizations that interest them.
Students can save time at the college fair by registering ahead of time. Pre-register at www.gotomef.com prior to the college fair, print out the barcode and bring it to the fair to present to the admission counselor. Contact your child’s school counselor or the College and Career Center for further information.
