Join us for “Literacy for All”. This event will provide ideas/tools for parents, guardians, and staff for working with Children on literacy at home. Presented by Jill Gonzalez.
Plus Special Guest Deanna Morrow presenting on apps for iPad/iPod users including Proloquo2 go and other apps for use in educational and community settings.
More about Jill Gonzalez
Jill has been teaching in the St. Paul district for over 25 years in special education. She has an undergraduate degree in Special Education Mild through Severe Profound K-12 and Elementary 1-6 as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Jill’s concentration for the past 17 years has been in the area of literacy for students with severe disabilities as well as communication. She has studied with Karen Erickson and David Kopenhaven through Literacy Camp at Camp Courage for two summers and at Closing the Gap conventions for the past 18 years.
