Stillwater Area High School Concert Orchestra Presents Concerto Concert

The Concert Orchestra will be performing its Concerto Concert on Sunday, June 3 at 3 p.m. in the SAHS auditorium. 

Included in this year’s concert will be Eric Corcoran performing the first movement from the Dvorak Cello Concerto; Sarah Funck performing the first movement of the Hoffmeister Viola Concerto; Kathryn Luk performing the first movement of the von Weber Clarinet Concerto; and Brandon Peck and Madeline Huss performing the aria entitled “Verrano ate sullaure” from Donizetti’s opera Lucia di Lammermoor. Also included in the program will be Franz von Suppe’s Light Cavalry Overture, Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance #8 and Tschaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.  

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors  and are available from any Concert Orchestra member or by calling the SAHS music ticket line at 351-8208. Tickets will also be available at the door.
