Storytime for pre-school children will be at Lake Elmo Interim Library on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. The Interim Library shares space with Lake Elmo Regional Art Center at 3585 Laverne Ave. N. in Lake Elmo, and has been in place since Washington County closed the Rosalie E. Wahl Library at the end of December. The library will stay in place until the new Lake Elmo Public Library opens in the near future.
A collection of children’s, teen and adult books, DVDs, CDs, newspapers and magazines are available to check out. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are free. No library card is required, anyone may check out items. A public computer with internet, free Wi-Fi and a copy machine are also available.
Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and also Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5 to 8 p.m. Friends of Lake Elmo Library sponsor the Interim Library and Storytime. For more information call the library during open hours 651-256-1407.
