Victorian Christmas

A note from Washington County.

Visitors to the Victorian Christmas at the Historic Courthouse will have a full day of fun visiting with vendors of art and high quality crafts, along with costumed volunteers, live music, festive holiday decorations and a Tea Room. Special features at this year’s event include visiting with Santa Claus and a German holiday exhibit.

Santa will be in the courthouse Saturday, Nov. 19, from noon to 4 p.m. and again Sunday, Nov. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. This is a perfect opportunity to bring a camera and get a start on holiday cards and photos. Santa will be in the vault exhibit area ready to greet guests and visit with boys and girls to hear their holiday wishes. Visitors also may view an exhibit featuring a holiday celebration in the Ore Mountain (Erzgebirge) region of German showcasing holiday pyramids, smokers, nutcrackers and more.
