Football Friday: Stillwater at White Bear Lake
It's still early, but Ponies showdown with Bears could be key in league race.

Both teams started the season with victories, but only one can be 2-0 after this week.

White Bear Lake (1-0, 1-0 Suburban East Conference) took care of Roseville 28-13; Stillwater (1-0, 1-0 Suburban East) held off Woodbury 27-20.

Anderson rushed for a game-high 104 yards in the Ponies' season-opening win over Woodbury.

Ricci threw for 70 yards and had a pair of touchdown passes to help the Ponies get past the Royals.

Scored a pair of touchdowns against Roseville a week ago.
PONIES WIN IF …
They can maintain their intensity coming off last week's emotional victory over their head coach's former team.
BEARS WIN IF …
They can continue to make big plays on defense. They were able to take advantage of a number of Roseville turnovers last week, and will need to do the same against the Ponies if they hope to come out on top.
