FREE Concert -- Latin Rhythms -- Saturday, October 5th -- Don't miss it!

After a day at the Fall Colors Fine Art & Jazz Festival head to Trinity for an evening of lively Latin music! Three of the areas finest musical arts groups will perform separately and together in a FREE concert Saturday evening, October 5, 7:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. The event titled “Latin Rhythms”, features the Valley Chamber Chorale, Music Saint Croix and the St. Croix Jazz Orchestra.  Each of thee organizations have established themselves as vital parts of the community: the Chorale in choral performance of all genres, Music Saint Croix in chamber music from Baroque to Contemporary, and the St. Croix Jazz Orchestra in both big-band and intimate jazz settings. For this concert music will be drawn from South America - as well as repertoire by North American composers inspired by the sounds and rhythms from south of the border. Included are works by Astor Piazolla, Ariel Ramirez and George Gershwin.
