Funeral Details Announced For Stillwater Corrections Officer

ARDEN HILLS, MN — The visitation and funeral has been set for Joseph Gomm, the corrections officer killed at the state prison in Stillwater last week.

A visitation will be held Thursday at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills at 10 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

The burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery.

Gomm is survived by his mother, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

"Joe enjoyed cooking, playing online video games, and had a love of animals. His quick witty demeanor will be missed by all," reads his obituary.
