Game of the Week: No. 3 Ranked Ponies Girls Soccer Team Take on Edina
Stillwater Area High School's girls soccer team opens the season ranked No. 3 in the state, gears up for a Tuesday night matchup with Edina.

The Stillwater girls soccer team—ranked third to start the season—faces a tough early test Tuesday night when they host an Edina squad that's ranked ninth in the state in the Star Tribune rankings.
Stillwater edged Rochester Century 1-0 to open the season Thursday in new head coach Amanda Maxwell's debut, while Edina enters Tuesday's match on a two-game winning streak with victories over Elk River and Robbinsdale Armstrong under their belts so far. The Hornets have outscored their first two opponents 7-1.
The Ponies are expected to contend in the Suburban East Conference again this season after tying for third at last year's state tournament.
