UPDATED: Three People Transported after Head-On Crash on Highway 95 North of Stillwater

Serious, but non life-threatening injuries were reported as the result of a head-on crash on Highway 95 just south of Crabtree's Garden Gate Saturday night. Alcohol may have been a factor, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Three people were transported to Regions Hospital Saturday night after a head-on crash on Highway 95 north of Stillwater.

Alcohol was detected at the scene, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

At about 9:12 p.m. Saturday first responders were called to a head-on crash on Highway 95 just south of Crabtree’s Garden Gate. The crash closed the highway down for about two hours.

According to the crash report:

One of the vehicles involved in the crash was driven by Matthew Scott, 35, of Cushing Wis. The other vehicle was driven by Mark Schroer, 47, of Scandia. His wife, Angela Schroer, 39, was a passenger in his vehicle.

All three people were transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, according to the state patrol. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Alcohol was detected on Scott at the scene of the crash, the State Patrol's crash report states.
