Hospital In Stillwater Welcomes Its First Baby Of New Year
Joe and Natalie Thompson, from Shoreview, are Max's proud parents.

STILLWATER, MN — The first baby of 2019 born at Lakeview Hospital arrived at 2:57 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2019. Max LaVarre Thompson made his New Year’s Day debut – two days early – weighing 9 pounds, 3 ounces.
Joe and Natalie Thompson, from Shoreview, are Max’s proud parents. Their daughter, Ava Lou, 3, was also born at Lakeview, according to a news release.
“We have received phenomenal care while here, from everyone we have encountered,” said Joe and Natalie in a statement. “We had our first child here and came back due to the excellent care we received.”

Nurses presented the family with a basket of goodies in celebration of being the first newborn of the New Year.
