Hudson Police Ask Motorists to Slow Down, Move Over After Squad Car is Rear-Ended
A Ford pickup struck the rear of the squad car causing it to cross all lanes of traffic and collide into the right wall.

"Slow Down and Move Over!" That's the message the Hudson Police Department wants to impart on motorists after one of their squad cars was rear-ended and significantly damaged on Interstate 94 Monday morning. According to a post on the department's Facebook page, the squad car was rear ended while the police officer was assisting with a disabled vehicle on an I-94 bridge.
The squad car was in the left lane when it was hit by a truck at highway speed. The officer was not in the squad car at the time of the accident and no one was injured, police say.
The squad car, a Ford Taurus, was on the Hudson Bridge with emergency lights activated, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. A Ford pickup struck the rear of the unoccupied squad car causing it to cross all lanes of traffic and collide with the right wall.
