Lake Elmo Stabbing: Both Victims Expected To Survive

One adult male suspect was taken into custody, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

LAKE ELMO, MN — Two men were hospitalized late Friday and are expected to survive after they were stabbed in the east Twin Cities metro, authorities said. On Sept. 8 at 9:37 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 200 block of Cimarron in Lake Elmo on the report of a man with a cut to his leg. Lakeview ambulance and Lake Elmo Fire also responded.

While units were en route, updated information came in that a stabbing had occurred. Upon arrival, sheriff's deputies found two stabbing victims. The victims, two men, were transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One adult male suspect was taken into custody, according to a news release. Authorities say no other suspects are being sought. The incident is currently under investigation.
