The Ponies will be without senior running back Nick Anderson for the rest of the season, according to the Stillwater Gazette. Quarterback Nate Ricci’s status for Friday’s game is uncertain after re-injuring his ankle during last week’s win at East Ridge.

Roseville brings the conference’s No. 1-rated offense into Stillwater.

“They have the No. 1-ranked offense and their defense hasn’t been too shabby,” Stillwater Head Coach Beau LaBore told the Gazette. “From what it sounded like they had an injury or two to start the season, but they’re definitely a formidable team... They can score, we need to make sure the field is long for them.”

The Ponies will host their annual food drive for Valley Outreach during tonight’s game.

Fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items or cash donations to place in drop boxes available by the entrance gates. All collected items will go to Valley Outreach Food Shelf in Stillwater.

Organized by the Stillwater sophomore team, the Ponies already collected and dropped off 2,170 pounds of donations to the Valley Outreach this past weekend.

The food shelf needs non-perishable dry and canned goods, including baby food and formula, diaper wipes and diapers, personal care items such as tooth paste/brushes, shampoo, soap, body wash and deodorant, household products such as toilet paper and paper towels and facial tissue, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent.
