Lumberjack Days Music Announcement May Come in the Next 48 Hours

The wait to see just who will be gracing the floating stage at Lumberjack Days this summer is almost over.

Dave Eckberg of St. Croix Events told Stillwater Patch this afternoon that he is within 48 hours of making a music announcement forLumberjack Days Stillwater (may even be yet today).

He said they were waiting on one last confirmation, but wouldn't tip his hat on who he was waiting on or who was already lined up.

When asked if he would drop a clue on who will be playing, Eckberg said: "It won't be anyone dead, so that rules out Elvis, John Lennon and a few others."

The postponed announcement (generally early spring) has created quite the conversation on social media sites, but Eckberg says everything will remain similar to past years.
