On July 1, a police officer was working a downtown bike shift when he was approached by an individual who had reported a driving complaint.
The complainant reported a white BMW coming from Wisconsin into downtown Stillwater and "was all over the road," according to the authorities.

The officer asked the defendant to knock on the bathroom door to get the girlfriend's attention. The defendant refused and became noticeably nervous, according to the criminal complaint. Police say the defendant then walked away and looked around the store.
The defendant tried to make a discreet movement and hide something when he dropped something
on the floor, police said. The officer found a Ziplock bag on the floor that contained a large amount of white substance that appeared to be methamphetamine. The substance tested positive for meth and weighed a total of 117 grams, according to authorities.
A charge is merely an allegation and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
