Police: Man Lights His Arm on Fire with Gas, Walks into Lucky's in Downtown Stillwater

A suicidal man reportedly lit himself on fire this morning at in downtown Stillwater, according to police.

The man survived, and was transported to Regions Hospital for treatment.

Just before 8:15 Friday morning, the man reportedly bought $1.50 worth of fuel at the downtown gas station, put it into a water bottle, poured it on his arm, lit himself on fire and walked into the gas station, police said. After the fire went out on its own, the man reportedly walked outside and attempted to set his chest on fire, police said.
