The dramatics of a morning thunderstorm and the inquiries of inquisitive minds if we would still be holding the first Summer Tuesdays made the success of last evening all the sweeter.
The vendors sold their goods, the band "Mike In The Wilderness" strummed their instruments and even taught the crowd some square-dancing! And then everyone snuggled in for the movie. Everything was like clockwork. A vision in Event Coordinators' eyes. I think the only thing that went wrong was that I lost my favorite pen. So if anyone sees an awesome black pen, it is mine, and I would like it back.
So next week we are looking for people who are feeling adventurous! (or Indiana Jones fans, or ladies who swoon over Harrison Ford), because "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" (Rated PG) will be playing. Anyone spotted wearing an Indiana Jones-type hat will be rewarded with a free drink or popcorn! Update: I found my pen. It was actually just on my kitchen table the whole time.
