Night to Unite is Tuesday in Stillwater

The third annual Night to Unite is Tuesday (Aug. 2) from 5 to 9 p.m. at Washington Square Park.

The Stillwater Police Department will be teaming up with residents in a united front designed to promote local crime prevention programs, strengthen police and community relationships and unite neighborhoods in the fight against crime.

Events at Washington Square Park will include the chance to sink Stillwater Junior High School Principal and Stillwater City Council members Mike Polehna and Jim Roush in a dunk tank; tour Stillwater police and fire equipment; and visit with Lakeview Hospital EMS medics and members of the National Guard. will also be showing off with K-9 demonstrations.

Stillwater police, firefighters and city officials will also be heading out to visit neighborhood block parties.
