October in Stillwater: Pumpkin Drop, Haunted Trails, Fall Colors and Apple Picking

Fall Colors Fine Art and Jazz Festival

Oct. 6-7   10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Juried fine art event and Jazz performances. 

Nooks and Crannies Tour of Historic Courthouse

Sunday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tour the dome, basement, sheriff’s residence and the 1870-1900 historic jail.   Suggested donation of $3. 

Stillwater Harvest Fest and Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

Oct. 13-14, Saturday and Sunday

Free family fun Fall event in Lowell Park, Stillwater, featuring a giant pumpkin weigh-off contest, pumpkin carvers, kid games, bluegrass music, vendors, street dance and pumpkin regatta on the St. Croix River. 

Axdahl’s Haunted FarmScare

Oct 5-27, Every Friday and Saturday night from Dusk until 10 p.m.

Haunted barn, woods, corn maze and "red" room, located at Axdahl’s Garden Farm.  Recommended for age 14 and older.  If younger, must be accompanied by adult. 

Aamodt’s Apple Farm

October - days and times vary.

Free Family event - hay wagon rides, Honeycrisp Express, hay bale maze, John Deere Tractor Trikes.
