PHOTO GALLERY: Stillwater Girls Swim and Dive Team Off to a Fast Start

For the seventh time in 10 years the Stillwater girls swimming and diving team won the Suburban East Conference relay meet on Thursday at the Stillwater Junior High School Pool.

The Ponies finished with a team-best 154 points, followed by Woodbury at 138 points, Mounds View with 112 points and East Ridge at 76 points.

Highlights of the day include:

The 400 medley relay team—Summer Olson, Sophie Barnes, Tiffany Vang and Mady Gockowski— took first at 4:23.23.

The 200 butterfly relay—Sammi Potts, Aliki Vrohidis, Jordan Duncan and Sophia Bisch—took first at 1:54.95.

The 800 freestyle relay—Claire Rutscher, Mary Knaak, Barnes and Kylie Burgess—took first at 8:13.29.

The 200 backstroke relay—Rutscher, Burgess, Natalie Bergstrom and Duncan— took first at 1:53.64.

The 400 freestyle relay—Bisch, Burgess, Knaak and Rutscher—took first at 3:44.47.
