Photos Show Progress on New St. Croix Bridge
The new bridge is intended to ease congestion in the St. Croix Valley and promote interstate commerce.

Have you seen construction on the new St. Croix Crossing bridge that connects Oak Park Heights, Minnesota and St. Joseph, Wisconsin?
The Minnesota Department of Transportation recently posted photos of the bridge, showing how much progress crews have made on the structure.
One picture shows the view looking toward Wisconsin, another shows the view looking toward Minnesota, and a third is looking at the pier from below.

The bridge, which is expected to cost between $617 million and $646 million, is intended to provide a safer, more reliable river crossing, ease congestion in the St. Croix Valley, and support jobs and help interstate commerce.
MNDOT's website currently hosts a live webcam showing construction of the bridge.
