Police: 'Santa' Came Knocking on a Door in Stillwater Late Christmas Morning

Apparently, Santa was still in Stillwater during the late morning hours of Christmas Day.
Stillwater Police were called to a report of a suspicious person who knocked on the door of a home in the 300 block of Third Street South just before 11 a.m.
The woman who answered the door told police that a man wearing white baseball hat and a brown leather coat βproclaimed himself to be Santa Claus,β the report states. The man kept his head bowed and left when the woman said she was going to call police.

Police did find fresh tracks in snow between and behind buildings along the 300 block of Third Street, but lost the tracks along the sidewalks and parking lot.
The woman was advised to call police if she saw Santa again.
