Presentation & Open talk: Alzheimer's disease

Salem Lutheran Church and School will offer a presentation that provides information that families and friends will want to know as they care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. The seminar entitled: “It’s Alzheimer’s”—It’s Time for Extraordinary Love, will be held in the fellowship hall on Sunday, March 2, 2014. The presentation will last from 12:30 to 3:30.

Pastor Curt Seefeldt, Director of Church Relations for The Lutheran Home Association will facilitate discussion on Alzheimer’s diagnosis, treatment options, answers to spiritual questions and family care. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to provide emotional and spiritual support to all who are affected by the disease. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge for the event.
