Prison Threats Lead to Felony Charges for Stillwater Inmate

Damon Derrail Clark could spend up to five more years in prison and be ordered to pay a $10,000 fine if convicted of terroristic threats.

A 22-year-old inmate at Stillwater prison is facing new felony charges after threatening to kill a correctional officer and his family.Β

According to a Washington County criminal complaint, Damon Derrail Clark got angry with the correctional officer after the man refused to administer Clark's medication.

The officer allegedly told Clark thatβ€”as per usualβ€”the prison nurse would administer his medication at the scheduled time.

Clark is scheduled to appear in Washington County court for an omnibus hearing on Feb. 15 and, if necessary, a jury trial on Apr. 2.Β

If convicted of terroristic threats, Clark could face up to five additional years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
