The Rivertown Art Festival returns to Stillwater May 19-20.
In the event’s 34th year—and first the Greater Stillwater Chamber’s first year back as sole manager of the event—there will be more than 130 artists selling handmade works art, ceramics, pottery, jewelry and more.
With the Chamber overseeing all planning efforts, several “significant improvements” have been made including a new Marketplace featuring gourmet food products and other unique handcrafted merchandise, a news release from the Chamber reads.

“Regaining event management and a stricter jury process has allowed us to bring higher quality work and true artisans along with other positive changes to this year’s show,” the chamber’s Executive Director Todd Streeter said.
“We’re excited about the addition of the marketplace,” Event Coordinator Dolly Parker added. “It has allowed us to broaden our offerings to items like gourmet food that—though handcrafted and in high demand—wouldn’t qualify for the festival under traditional artist jury criteria.”
The Rivertown Art Festival is sponsored by Renewal by Andersen and will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20 in Lowell Park.
