The men were both traveling northbound on Stillwater Boulevard when the Oakdale man reportedly cut off the Stillwater man as a third vehicle turned northbound onto Stillwater Boulevard from Orleans Street.

The move reportedly upset the Stillwater man who then sped up and pulled back in front of the Oakdale man just south of Croixwood Boulevard, reached out of his driver’s side window and threw a handful of pocket change at the Oakdale man’s vehicle.

The Oakdale man told police that one of the coins hit his windshield, causing a small chip.

The ordeal continued to Pony Express, where the Stillwater man works.

The Stillwater man told police the road-rage incident did happen, but he didn’t throw anything out of his window.

He went on to tell police that he didn’t have any change in his pockets; however, as he was saying that to police, the man reportedly shook his pockets with his hands and the officer could hear the jingling of change.

When asked what the sound of pocket change was, the Stillwater man allegedly changed his tune and β€˜fessed up to having coins in his pocket.

The Stillwater man then told police: Even if he had thrown something out the window, who was to say that the chip and crack window was caused by that incident.

The Oakdale man told police he wanted to press charges, so he could recoup restitution for the damage to his windshield.
