Save Money on Flex Fuel Friday
The Holiday station is offering an 85 cent discount on E85 for an hour on Friday afternoon.

Flex Fuel drivers can save 85 cents per gallon on E85 fuel from 4-5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 10 at . There is a 30 gallon limit per flex fuel vehicle during the promotion.
The savings is part of "Flex Fuel Friday," a promotion spotlighting a different metro area E85 retailer each week according to a press release.
When used in a flex fuel vehicle E85 produces fewer harmful emissions than gasoline. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, "E85 is a blend of 85 percent denatured ethanol and 15 percent gasoline." Ethanol is renewable fuel made from plants, like corn, sugar cane, and other starchy agricultural products.

In addition to E85, the Stillwater station is the first in the metro area of offer E30, a mid-range ethanol fuel, which will also be discounted by 30 cents per gallon during the promotion.
Both E85 and E30 are intended for use in flex fuel vehicles only -- check the gas cap or fuel lid door and visit CleanAirChoice.org to see a complete listing of vehicles that can use E85.

Supporters of Flex Fuel Friday include the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, American Lung Association in Minnesota and members of the Minnesota Clean Air Choice Team.
