School Bus Filled With Children Rear-Ended In Forest Lake

FOREST LAKE, MN — A driver from Lindstrom, Minnesota was injured Tuesday when she rear-ended a school bus, authorities said. Rena Matilda Shepard, 71, was traveling eastbound on Highway 97 in a Saturn Vue when her vehicle rear-ended a school bus at North Shore Trail in Forest Lake just before 3 p.m.

Approximately 50-60 kids were on the bus but none were injured, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Shepard suffered a non-life threatening injury.
