Should Stillwater Allow AirBnB? Take the Survey
Current city code prohibits short-term rental options such as AirBnB. Stillwater officials want to know if you think that should change.
City officials want your opinion.
The city of Stillwater has seen a rise in alternative lodging opportunities (AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, etc). However, current city code outright prohibits these short-term rental options in most districts.
The city is exploring whether the law should be changed to allow these types of land uses, according to a news release.

While city staff and its consultants have researched national trends in relationship to the local lodging climate, officials would like to hear what residents, property owners and interested individuals think in regards to short term rental regulations in the Stillwater community.
The survey will be available until Oct. 10. Results of this survey will be utilized by a local stake holders group who will be working with city staff to provide recommendations to appointed and elected officials.
