Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper a festive family affair.
Shrove Tuesday/aka/"Fat Tuesday" is traditionally the last opportunity to eat indulgent food before the somber season of Lent begins. Our Community Kitchen in Stillwater will host a buffet-style all-you-can-eat pancake supper on Tuesday evening, March 4, 5:30 p.m. at Ascension Episcopal Church., 214 North Third Street, Stillwater.
The menu includes traditional Shrove Tuesday fare: sweet potato pancakes, fruit sauce, maple syrup, split pea soup, fresh fruit and delectable homemade donuts with chocolate sauce.
To add to the revelry, Thrift Store Sonata will provide foot-stomping music and kids of all ages will enjoy games and crafts.
Suggested donation: adults - $8, families - $20, kids under 5 eat free.
