Thursday saw the Stillwater boys soccer and volleyball teams remain on their hot streaks with conference victories, while the Ponies girls swimming and diving squad remained its regular and dominant self in the pool.
Boys Soccer
The No. 4-ranked Stillwater boys soccer team topped Woodbury, 1-0, on a Jason Schwab goal on Thursday to improve to 10-2 on the season and seize control of the Suburban East Conference.

Goalkeeper Ben Wilhelm logged his fifth shutout of the season with five saves against the Royals as the Ponies went to 5-0 in the conference, one game better than Woodbury and 1 1/2 up on Mounds View.

A four-game victory at Roseville on Thursday was the seventh-straight match win for the Stillwater volleyball team as the Ponies improved to 7-6 after beginning the season with six-straight defeats.
Savannah Sprenger leads the team with 76 kills and 14 service aces, with Susan Evans' 186 assists and Maddie Brandon's 194 digs also pacing the squad.
The Ponies remained tied for the top spot in the SEC with a 4-0 record in circuit play.
Girls Soccer
The Stillwater girls soccer team dropped to 4-5-2 overall with a 2-1 loss at seventh-ranked Woodbury on Thursday.
Maddie Schaak's third goal of the season was not enough to gain a point against the Royals as the Ponies fell to 1-3-1 in the SEC.
Girls Swimming and Diving
Stillwater topped Mounds View, 95-80, in a SEC dual meet on Thursday. Individual statistics were not currently available.
Girls Tennis
The Stillwater girls tennis team lost 5-1 to Centennial in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday. Individual statistics were not made available.
