Sports Update: Ponies Round the Midway Point Of Regular Season
Fall sports season really feels like autumn for late week contests.

With an autumn-like chill in the air, Stillwater sports teams rounded the midway point of their fall seasons as the week drew to a close.
Girls Swimming and Diving
Stillwater remained undefeated in Suburban East Conference girls swimming and diving meets this season with a 96-79 defeat of White Bear Lake on Thursday.

Claiming individual wins for the Ponies were: Kate Gallagher (200-yard freestyle), Mary Knaak (200-yard individual medley), Sophia Bisch (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly), Sammi Potts (100-yard freestyle), Kylie Burgess (500-yard freestyle).
The foursome of Jordan Duncan, Tiffany Vang, Claire Rutscher and Potts also won the 200-yard medley relay.

Girls Soccer
The Stillwater girls soccer team tied Hill-Murray, 1-1, in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday, giving the Ponies a 3-3-2 record. Leah Nitardy scored Stillwater's lone goal.
Boys Soccer
The top-ranked Stillwater boys soccer team shut out Hill-Murray, 4-0, on Thursday. Patrick Roth, Sam Rasmussen, Quentin Hietpas and Jason Schwab scored for the Ponies as goalkeeper Ben Wilhelm made three saves for his fourth shutout.
Volleyball
A three-game sweep (25-9, 25-6, 25-5) on Thursday boosted the Stillwater volleyball team to 5-6 on the year. Individual statistics were not made available.
Cross-Country
The Stillwater boys cross-country team took first place in the Rochester Mayo Invitational, blowing out the field by 59 points with a score of 28. Individual statistics were not made available.
Girls Tennis
The Stillwater girls tennis team topped Hastings, 4-3, on Thursday in a conference dual meet. Individual statistics were not made available.
