State Patrol Seeks Public's Help in Forest Lake Hit-And-Run
A Saint Paul woman was killed when she fell from the back of a motorcycle during a crash on Interstate 35 in Forest Lake.

The Minnesota State Patrol is still asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle that was in the area of a crash in the early morning hours on Friday, Nov. 18. Ena Bhatia, 21, of Saint Paul was killed when she fell from the back of a motorcycle just after 4:40 a.m. on Interstate 35 in Forest Lake. The incident occurred between the Highway 97 and Broadway Avenue exits in Forest Lake.
The driver of the motorcycle fled and was later located.
Authorities believe a 2002 – 2006 Honda CRV was in the area at the time and struck Bhatia. The driver may not have known they struck a person. Bhatia was wearing brown Carhartt clothing and some witnesses believed there was a deer in the road at the time, according to a news release.

State Patrol investigators would like to interview the driver of the Honda CRV to determine what they saw that morning.
