State Trooper Gets A 'Two-For-One' On DWI Arrests: Report

"This is what we call a two-for-one," the Minnesota State Patrol said.

"This is what we call a two-for-one," the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) said. On Feb. 4 at 3 a.m., a trooper was on a traffic stop on Interstate 94 in Saint Paul and arrested a 41-year-old driver from Stillwater for DWI.

The trooper was waiting on the tow truck to load the suspect's vehicle when a Mazda passed by his stop location allegedly at over 100 mph without slowing down.

The trooper immediately began following the Mazda and clocked it as fast as 120 mph, authorities say.
