Stillwater Area High School Mountain Bike Team 2014 State Championship Race

Several Ponies Vying for State Race Series Podium Finishes

The Minnesota High School Cycling League holds its State Championship Race this Sunday, October 26th at Whitetail Ridge in River Falls, WI. Races begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day (see schedule below).

This marks the third year of high school mountain bike racing in the state of Minnesota, and the second year for Stillwater Area High School. Stillwater has the second largest of 39 teams in the state, and the largest Middle School (7th/8th grade) division with 13 student athletes.

Spectators
Enjoy the beautiful autumn weather and high energy atmosphere while cheering on our Ponies as they tackle the tough, challenging single-track terrain offered in the St. Croix River Valley. Bring your cow bells and see what all the excitement’s about, as you witness firsthand the reason this sport has experienced such incredible rapid growth in our state.

Directions to Whitetail Ridge
Take 94E from the Twin Cities towards WI. Once in WI, take exit 3 for Hwy 35 South. Take the Main Street Exit. Turn Right onto Paulson Road. Follow Paulson Road along the highway and take a left onto Highland Dr. Look for the race course on the left hand side of the road.
