Stillwater Area High School Named 15th Best in Minnesota
Stillwater Area High School and St. Croix Prep Academy each made the top 20 list of U.S. News and World Report's "Best High Schools in Minnesota."
has been named the 15th best public high school in Minnesota—and the 636th best in the country—by U.S. News and World Report.
also cracked the top 20 in the annual ranking of high schools released today. St. Croix Prep was named 18th best high school in Minnesota and 701st best in the country. St. Croix Prep was named 68th best charter high school in the nation.

Nearly 22,000 schools were evaluated across the country, with the top schools receiving gold, silver or bronze medals. Stillwater Area High School and St. Croix Prep were each awarded silver, which only went to 2 percent of the schools surveyed.
U.S. News and World Report looked at how students performed on standardized tests versus others in the same state; how black, Hispanic and low-income students did relative to others; and how well a school prepared students for college.
