Stillwater Baseball Dominates Late to Defeat Mahtomedi

The Stillwater Ponies turned it on late in the game to win large over Mahtomedi Tuesday night in the Section 4AAA second round game.  After Mahtomedi scored in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game at two, Stillwater scored ten consecutive runs to earn the 12-2 victory and advance to the Section 4AAA Semifinals. The Ponies will face a tough Cretin-Derham Hall team Thursday night at Midway Stadium in St. Paul for a chance to go to the Section Championship.
