KLBB offered Bunn equal airtime, which was required by law, and she accepted. Bunn purchased an hour of airtime from the station and produced the "The Julie Bunn Show: Conversations About the Future of our State and Communities" on Sept. 8.

"I am happy that the chamber is filling that role for the next eight weeks," Housley told the Pioneer Press. "I am looking forward to getting back on the air and giving the businesses of the St. Croix River Valley a platform to promote their businesses and events."

Dan Smith, KLBB's owner and general manager told the newspaper that he would have Housley back on the air following the election.

"That spot is Karin's, if she wants it after the election," Smith told the Pioneer Press. "Karin has been an awfully good client of ours for many years, and we look forward to having her back after the election."

ChamberChat

The new show’s host will be the Chamber’s Executive Director, Todd Streeter.

“ChamberChat” will showcase “many of the hard working men and women who make our area such a wonderful place to live, work and play,” Streeter said. The timing is perfect given all the activities taking place in the Valley and in downtown Stillwater.

“We’re on the leading edge of fundamental economic growth for our area as major projects such as , and the start coming online,” Streeter wrote in a news release.

The format of the chamber’s new show is still up in the air.

“This opportunity came up quickly so we are still trying to determine the show’s format, but I’m sure it will be loosely structured so we can have some fun while we share important information with our area listeners,” Streeter said. “Who knows, it could be reminiscent of the Dean Martin Show, where he’d open the door and you never knew who was going to step out.”
